Where is the Helpdesk of Le Champion?
The Helpdesk of the 5 English Miles is close to the entrance of the Dam tot Dam Park and is open from 4:30 p.m.
The Helpdesk for the 10 English Mile is on the city center side of Amsterdam Central Station and is open from 9:00 am (note that this is a different location to previous years!).
After the finish, there will also be a Helpdesk near the entrance in the Dam tot Dam park.
The Helpdesk of the Mini Dam tot Damloop in Zaandam is located on the Burcht.

Where is the start?
The start of the 5 English Miles is on the Vermiljoenweg in Zaandam.
De start of the 10 English Miles is on the Prins Hendrikkade in Amsterdam.
Where is the finish?
The finish of the 5 English Miles and the 10 English Miles is on the Peperstraat in Zaandam.

Can I start in a different starting area? At the 5 English Miles it is not possible to start later or earlier.
At the 10 English Miles you can start later in a recreation course, starting earlier is not possible.
You can use your current bib number to enter a later recreation starting area.
Will I get a medal?Your sporting achievement will be rewarded at the finish with a unique medal.
Where can I have my medal engraved?You can have your medal engraved during the event at the engraving stand in the Dam tot Dam Park.

Is there a prize-giving ceremony at the Kids Run?
Based on the motto 'Participation is more important than winning' and 'Everyone is a winner', there is no prize-giving ceremony. All children will receive a medal after the finish.
Is it possible to run together with my child?
Parents with children aged 4 to 6 are allowed to run with their child on the course. Accompanying older children is not allowed.
Will the children also receive a bibnumber at home?
Yes. No later than Friday before the start of the event, all participants will receive a bibnumber. If you have not received one, you can report to the Helpdesk on the day of the event.
Time limits
Are there time limits? The time limit for the 5 English Miles is 85 minutes. The finish will close at 10.30 p.m.
The time limit for the 10 English Miles is 2 hours. The finish line closes at 5 p.m.
You must have passed the points below before the mentioned times;
- 6 km - 15.45 p.m.
- 11 km - 16.22.30 p.m.
- 14 km - 16.45 p.m.
Care, medical and facilities
Where can I hand in my clothes?5 English Miles:
By showing your bib number, you can hand in your own bag on the Heijermansstraat, between the Dam tot Dam Park and the finish. You will then receive a sticker on your bib number with a number corresponding to the number on the bag, so that you can collect your bag after the run. Handing in and collecting is possible between 18:45 and 22:45.
10 English Miles:
Together with your bib number, you will receive a special plastic carrier bag which should be used for dropping off clothes in Amsterdam.
You can hand in the bag at the clothing drop-off on
the city center side of Amsterdam Central Station (note that this is a different location from previous years!). You will then get a sticker on your bib number with a number corresponding to the number on the bag, so you can collect your bag again after the run.
What care will I get on the way? Along the course you will find a number of refreshment stations. These refreshment stations are always located on the right side of the course. Take this into account when you see an approaching refreshment station and run on the right. Below you can read what is present where and in what order it will be handed out. Are there shower and changing facilities? There are only changing facilities in Zaandam in Sporthal De Struijck near the Dam tot Dam Park. There are no shower facilities. You can also leave (limited) bags here.

Do shuttle buses run?Participants and supporters can use the shuttle buses free of charge. The following options are available:
From P+R Hoogtij in Zaandam (Kleine Steng, 1551 ND Westzaan) -Saturday from 6.00 pm till 20.30 pm to the Dam tot Dam Park in Zaandam (approx. 20 minutes)
-Sunday from 8.30 am till 4.00 pm to the Dam tot Dam Park in Zaandam (approx. 20 minutes).
-Sunday from 9.00 am till 2.00 pm to Amsterdam CS (start 10 English Mile) (approx 30 minutes).
From Dam tot Dam Park in Zaandam (Schepenlaan, 1503 HN Zaandam)
-Saturday from 8.00 pm to 00.15 am to NS-station Zaandam (approx. 15 minutes) + P+R Hoogtij Zaandam (approx.20 minutes).
-Sunday from 9.00 am till 18.30 pm to Amsterdam CS (start 10 English Mile) (approx. 25 minutes, entry on bus: Amsterdam).
-Sunday from 12.00 till 6.30 pm to the Central Station Zaandam (approx. 15 minutes) + P+R Hoogtij Zaandam (approx. 20 minutes) (entry on bus: Zaandam).
From Amsterdam Central Station (on the kiss & ride loop at the westside of the IJ-hal Central Station)
-Sunday from 9.00 am till 4.00 pm to the Dam tot Dam Park in Zaandam (approx. 25 minutes).
