Competition Business Run

The Business Run competition at the NN Dam tot Damloop is also known as the unofficial Dutch Championship Business Run. Companies have the possibility to participate with one men's and one women's team in this race. The men's team can also be a mixed team, the women's team must consist exclusively of women.

Participation criteria

The following rules apply for participation in the Competition Business Run:

A team consists of a minimum of five and a maximum of ten people;
Participants are not required to be employed by the company;
For the business classification, the net times of the first five arrivals per team apply;
The company with the lowest total time of the first five runners is the winner;
In addition to a men's and a women's race team, a company may enter an unlimited number of recreational teams.

Awards

At the Competition Business Run the following prizes can be won:

A prize for the first company from the Zaanstreek;
A prize for the first company from Amsterdam;
A prize for the first three companies in the men's competition;
A prize for the first three companies in the women's competition;
A prize for the first three individual runners in the men's race;
A prize for the first three individual runners in the women's race.

In the Recreational Business Run, there are prizes for the three fastest teams, which will be sent by mail.

Awards Ceremony

The festive prize-giving ceremony will take place at the Dam tot Dam Finish Festival at 13.30 hours. Everyone is welcome to attend. In any case, we are counting on the presence of the prize winners, whose prizes will be presented (first company from the Zaanstreek, first company from Amsterdam, the first three companies in the men's race, the first three companies in the women's race and the first individual runner up in the men's race and in the women's race). The other prize winners will receive their prizes by mail.

Teamwear

Does a team from your company participate in the Business Run? Then it might be a good idea to dress the team in special T-shirts with the company name on it. This way your company gets extra exposure and the runners are recognizable for the public. Moreover, the runners feel more part of the team when they are wearing the same shirt.
